New Cheese poster - Les Fromages Francais

Finally a new post :) It has been such a long time since I last posted... It is far from forgotten, and believe me I would really love to post more and make more personal artwork, but until someone discovers how to duplicate ourselves, I just have to take it slowly and step by step. It is very difficult, because I am not very patient and I get frustrated quite quickly when I can't do what I planned, but I guess realizing it is already some first little step to changing it ;)

Anyway, today I would like to present you my latest poster, which was making me very hungry for cheeses when I was painting it :) I am such a cheese lover (as a french person, how could it be otherwise!!) and painting all kinds of different cheeses made me very happy!

I hope you like it! It is now available in my Etsy shop, don't hesitate to check it out.

Friday Happy Hour: Whiskey Smash

Today is not friday, but I wanted to share with you an illustration I made a couple weeks ago for the stationery blog Oh So Beautiful Paper for their friday Happy hour post.

This week, I illustrated the Whiskey Smash, and here is the recipe:

The Whiskey Smash

2 oz Bourbon Whiskey
1/2 oz Simple Syrup
1/2 a Lemon, Quartered
2 Mint Sprigs

Combine all of your ingredients in a cocktail shaker and add a few big pieces of ice, as big and as square as you can find and fit. Shake hard to pulverize the lemon and mint, then strain into a tumbler filled with fresh crushed ice. Garnish with more mint and enjoy!

New work: New cocktails illustrations

Before the summer, a client contacted me to illustrate some cocktails for a small booklet for a food and drink fair in NYC! I was so excited, and here is the result!

New work: Citrus kitchen art poster

August has been a much needed month to relax, disconnect with the useless things and reconnect with the important ones. I finally took time to see my dad who I hadn’t seen for more than a year, and it felt really good. Sometimes even if we don’t say anything, we would just stay on the terrace sitting and enjoying the silence and peace of the countryside, and I think just the fact of being there really means a lot to both of us.

August has also been a month of working on some new personal projects, and this new watercolor fruit poster is a new addition to my Etsy shop. I am sure it would look great in your kitchen!

New Work: L’Artisan Confiturier, Illustrated Jam Packaging

A few months ago, a lovely client from the US wrote me because she was interested in my patterns for her new brand of jams. I was very excited about this project, as painting fruits and packaging design are two things I really enjoy!
