Friday Happy Hour: Whiskey Smash

Today is not friday, but I wanted to share with you an illustration I made a couple weeks ago for the stationery blog Oh So Beautiful Paper for their friday Happy hour post.

This week, I illustrated the Whiskey Smash, and here is the recipe:

The Whiskey Smash

2 oz Bourbon Whiskey
1/2 oz Simple Syrup
1/2 a Lemon, Quartered
2 Mint Sprigs

Combine all of your ingredients in a cocktail shaker and add a few big pieces of ice, as big and as square as you can find and fit. Shake hard to pulverize the lemon and mint, then strain into a tumbler filled with fresh crushed ice. Garnish with more mint and enjoy!

New work: New cocktails illustrations

Before the summer, a client contacted me to illustrate some cocktails for a small booklet for a food and drink fair in NYC! I was so excited, and here is the result!

New work: Citrus kitchen art poster

August has been a much needed month to relax, disconnect with the useless things and reconnect with the important ones. I finally took time to see my dad who I hadn’t seen for more than a year, and it felt really good. Sometimes even if we don’t say anything, we would just stay on the terrace sitting and enjoying the silence and peace of the countryside, and I think just the fact of being there really means a lot to both of us.

August has also been a month of working on some new personal projects, and this new watercolor fruit poster is a new addition to my Etsy shop. I am sure it would look great in your kitchen!

New Work: L’Artisan Confiturier, Illustrated Jam Packaging

A few months ago, a lovely client from the US wrote me because she was interested in my patterns for her new brand of jams. I was very excited about this project, as painting fruits and packaging design are two things I really enjoy!

New Work: I am gonna live a million adventures – Travel Illustration for Lovely Streets

Hello everyone! I hope you are having a nice and warm summer like here in Barcelona!

I already told you a bit about Lovely Streets, the new brand for happy travelers and urban explorators. Travelers who are looking for another way of travelling. Travelers who want to discover the special places in a city, who want to explore new paths with open eyes and a happy heart. Lovely Streets is for people who feel connected with a city, with every little detail, and who want to travel to that place again, once they are back home.

I had so much pleasure illustrating and designing 2 series of products for Lovely Streets: the manifest, which I am going to present today, and New York, which I will present later this week.

I hope you will like it as much as I liked to illustrate these products! You can purchase them here.
